OFFICE CLOSURE:  The Church Office will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observation of Memorial Day.  The office will resume business on Tuesday, May 30th.

SUMMER FUN TIME:  It’s that time of year again!  Time for Summer Fun for our kids.  The Summer Fun program is geared toward 004-0148006-0089school-age kids.  Younger children are welcome, but only when accompanied by an adult or older (responsible) sibling.  We will meet at the church each Wednesday, June 7 – July 26, and bring the kids back to the church for pick-up.  Hope to see lots of you there!  Watch for the schedule to come out soon.

 

 

Our Mission Offering for Annual Conference goes to Imagine No Malaria effort in Africa.  Watch for details!

This information is needed for our Charge Conference.  Thank you in advance for helping with this much-needed information.

 

 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:   Vacation Bible School starts in just three weeks! Mark your calendars for June 11th – 16th, from 6:00 pm - Image result for barnyard vbs8:30pm with our kick off starting at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday the 11th with hot dogs and chips. If you would like to help with this wonderful program there is a sign-up board in the hallway or if you have any questions please call Caryle Lena at (228) 596-4194.

 

CANCELLED POSTAGE STAMPS: Some of the things you may regularly throw away may have a useful Stamppurpose. That’s the case with cancelled postage stamps. HUMC is participating in the Coalition for Cancelled Stamps Projects. See Maryann Graczyk for more information.

 

RETIREMENT: Don’t forget to put David Cumbest’s retirement on your calendar. It will be held at 5 p.m. on June 24th at Safe Harbor UMC, Moss Point, MS.
